Mr Loy has performed at some of Singapore's most iconic cultural venues. He has participated in outdoor performances at the Esplanade and served as a sessionist for a fusion band, collaborating with a strings orchestra at the prestigious Victoria Memorial Hall — bringing together his versatility across genres and performance settings.
As an instructor, Mr Loy specialises in teaching finger-plucking and strum-and-sing techniques on both ukulele and acoustic guitar. He is particularly skilled at making these instruments approachable and enjoyable for beginners of all ages, whether they are five or fifty-five.
Mr Loy takes a deeply student-centred approach, customising every class to meet each learner's individual needs and goals. He integrates music theory and aural practice naturally into lessons, ensuring students build a solid musical foundation while keeping every session engaging and rewarding. He has been a dedicated member of the Liberal Music & Arts School team since 2019.
