Vocal Lessons in Tengah
Confidence-first singing at Liberal's Tengah headquarters — healthy technique, English and Mandarin repertoire, and weekend-morning slots young voices thrive in.
Vocal lessons in Tengah — the short answer
Liberal Music & Arts School offers vocal lessons in Tengah at 127A Plantation Crescent, #01-381 (Plantation Plaza). Children typically start from age 5–6, learning healthy breath support and pitch through English and Mandarin repertoire, with ABRSM Singing or Trinity pathways available to Grade 8.
Why learn vocal at our Tengah HQ?
Healthy technique first
Young voices are still growing — breath support, posture and safe range come before style, so students build a voice that lasts.
English & Mandarin repertoire
Pop, folk and classical in both languages — ready for school performances, CCA auditions and family celebrations.
Confidence you can watch grow
Recitals through the year turn stage nerves into a practised skill — the change Tengah parents mention first.
How do vocal lessons progress?
Vocal students at Tengah can follow the ABRSM Singing or Trinity pathway by repertoire taste. Our ABRSM guide explains how the graded system works.
- Foundations. Pitch-matching, breath support, posture and simple songs in a comfortable range.
- First exams. ABRSM Singing or Trinity entry grades: prepared songs, technical work and aural — entered when ready.
- Developing voice. Range extension, dynamics, diction in English and Mandarin, expressive phrasing.
- Advanced grades. Grades 6–8 repertoire, performance interpretation and recital-standard preparation.
